The City of Selma Parks and Recreation Football League officially got underway on Sept. 18 at Memorial Stadium.

The Selma Rebels lost to Marion 20-16 in a 7-8-year-old division game on Sept. 23. Noah Powell and Amari Pratt-Dudley each scored for the Rebels. Powell and Prince Floyd each had two-point conversion runs.

In a 9-10-year-old game, the Selma Cowboys beat Marion 32-0 on Sept. 23. Jamarja Acoff scored two touchdowns. Rashad Martin and Kaman Duncan also scored. Duncan and Terry James each scored two-point conversions.

The Selma Rebels beat the Bobcats 32-6 on Sept. 26. Kristan Moore led the Rebels with two touchdowns. Camron Benjamin, Jordan Moore, Samuel Effinger and Walter Goldsmity each scored two point conversions.

The Junior Colts beat the Rebels 24-18 as Lance Ward all three touchdowns and two-point conversions on Sept. 28. Zailyn Caston scored two touchdowns for the Rebels.

In the 9-10-year-old division, the Dolphins shutout the Rams 30-0 on Sept. 28. Michael McCants had two interceptions, including a pick six.

The Colts defeated the Rams 14-6 in the 7-8-year-old division on Sept. 28. Jatavion Radford scored a touchdown and two-point conversion. Darrell Wallace also scored a touchdown.

The Rams beat the Bobcats 22-0 on Sept. 28. Kingston Hinton scored two touchdowns and a pair of two-point conversions. Darrell Heard and Antavius Martin each scored touchdowns.

The Panthers beat the Rebels 24-0 in a 9-10-year-old contest on Sept. 28 as Omari Smith scored two touchdowns.

The Rebels defeated the Bengals 12-6 in a 7-8-year-old game on Sept. 26.
