A Selma man was found guilty by a Dallas County Jury on Tuesday for his role in a crime outside Vasser’s Mini-mart last year.
According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Ladarius Parker, AKA Bo Parker, was found guilty of second-degree assault. The Dallas County jury deliberated for 30 minutes before a verdict in the two-day trial.
Parker was involved in a July 19, 2018 shooting of Jadarius Richardson that occurred on the intersection of Chisholm Drive and Dallas Avenue.
Jackson said Parker will be sentenced by Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway Jr. in a few months. Jackson said Pettaway could sentence Parker up to 20 years in prison.
Jackson called Parker, 20, the CEO of the Washington Street Gang.
“Parker can now be CEO of an Alabama prison,” Jackson said.
