A Selma resident was sentenced to 35 years in prison last week for certain persons forbidden to carry a pistol.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Jason Craig, AKA the “Ice Man,” pled guilty to certain persons forbidden to carry a pistol. He was sentenced to 15 years on the charge. The incident stemmed from a March 30, 2016 case, which Craig was a suspect in the Cedric Williams Jr. murder

Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway sentenced Craig. Pettaway also revoked Craig’s probation on a prior theft and receiving stolen property charges, giving him an additional 20 years for those cases.
