Mr. John W. Moore, Jr., age 59, resident of Selma, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Baptist South Hospital, Montgomery.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2019, 1 p.m. at Miller’s Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Derwin Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Veteran’s Memorial Gardens, Montevallo,  directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc. 

Survivors include: mother, Pauline Calhoune; two sons, John Alexander Moore and Robert Moore of Tucson, Arizona; one daughter, Jamila Courtland Hayes of Douglasville, Georgia; one brother, Napoleon Calhoune of Selma; three sisters, Lillie Simmons of Deatsville, Mildred Calhoune and Deloise Fletcher of Selma, three grandchildren, nine  nieces, six nephews and a special companion, Ernestine Glover of Selma.
