Margie Avice Newman Nichols, age 79, of Selma passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019.

Chapel Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Clark Skelton officiating. Burial will follow at Casey Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6– 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is preceded by her husband: Henry Nichols; daughter: Ann Nichols; and parents: Henry and Cleo Newman.

Margie is survived by her children: Brenda (Phillip) Higginbotham, Pete (Sandi) Nichols, Roger (Patty) Nichols,  Gennia (Odell) Nichols, Eugene Nichols; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters: Maggie (Mack) Wilkerson, Myrtice (Ronnie) Bedsole; and brother: Peewee (Sunette) Newman.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Higginbotham, Curtis Farmer, Hunter Nichols, Mack Wilkerson, Peewee Newman, and Paul Bedsole.
