Dallas County Judge revokes bond of Selma resident

A Selma resident had his bond revoked on two new charges Thursday in the Dallas County Courthouse.

Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong revoked the bond of Jeremiah Ford, 17, on the original charges of second-degree assault and shooting into an occupied building in April.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Ford’s new charges of shooting a gun into an occupied building and discharging a gun into an unoccupied vehicle.  The incidents happened on May 27 at the 2100 Block of Minter Avenue.

Armstrong set Ford’s bond at $1 million. Ford remains in the Dallas County Jail.

Ford’s preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 3 at 1:30 p.m. in the Dallas County Courthouse.
