A former West Alabama High School Principal had his probation revoked in Circuit Court this week for previous charges in Hale County.

According to Fourth Judicial District Attorney Michael Jackson, Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway revoked the probation of Dyana Thomas in Hale County. A probation revocation is scheduled for June 6 at 10 a.m. in the Hale County Courthouse.

Thomas was recently charged for statutory rape of a student in LeFlore County, Mississippi. He serves as Holmes Central High School Assistant Principal. LeFlore County Sheriff Ricky Blanks said the case will be presented to a grand jury next month for indictment consideration.
