A preliminary hearing was held Tuesday for a Dallas County resident on several charges of sexual offense.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong found probable cause on all of Danny Eldridge charges of pornography.

Armstrong turned Eldridge’s case over to a Dallas County Grand Jury on a $2 million consolidated bond. He remains in the Dallas County Jail.

Eldridge was arrested at 9 a.m. on April 6 by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office on two counts of rape, two counts of sodomy and six counts of pornography charges.

Jackson said his office will present Eldridge’s case to a Dallas County Grand Jury in the near future.

Jackson said Eldridge is a registered sex offender.
