The Trojans were able to put up one more run off the bat of Colquitt, but it wasn’t enough.

The Trojans didn’t respond until the top of the third, when Colquitt yet again drove in a run for the team.
The Longhorns put up another two runs in the bottom of the fourth off a sacrifice RBI from J.R. Brock and a bad throw allowed another runner to cross home, bringing the score to 5-1 Longhorns going into the top of the fifth.
Another Longhorn run scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the fifth and a series of hits in the bottom of the sixth, including an RBI from Hayden Campbell and another from Parker Phillips, as well as another missed opportunity from the Trojans’ defense, giving the Longhorns a win.
