Vaughan Regional Medical Center (VRMC) began their bi-annual Masquerade Jewelry Fundraiser on Thursday morning in the VRMC Tower Classroom.

The space was packed with both merchandise and shoppers as everyone browsed the Masquerade Jewelry to find the perfect piece for the perfect price.

Even when the VRMC tower classroom was filled with shoppers, Vaughan Auxiliary Chairperson June Sullivan said the fundraiser was still in a lull.

“It’s very well attended,” said Sullivan. “It does very well for us.”

VRMC holds the Masquerade Jewelry Fundraiser event twice a year.

All the money collected goes directly to the Vaughan Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, which is designed to assist students from Dallas and surrounding counties who attend two and four year colleges and are majoring in a health care field.

“It’s a great program,” said Rosie Dunklin Vaughn Auxiliary Co-President.

For those who may have missed out on the chance to visit the Masquerade Jewelry Fundraiser on Thursday, the fundraiser continues on Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Every item at the Masquerade Jewelry Fundraiser is $5 including rings, bracelets, necklaces, scarves and bags.
