St. Paul’s Little Friends School will soon host their annual Fish Fry Fundraiser.
This year’s event marks the 16th year that the school has hosted the fish fry.
Over the past 15 years, the fish fry has become a much beloved event in the community.
“It does very well for us each year,” said St. Paul’s Little Friends Director Rachel Colley. “The community really shows up to support us.”
According to Colley, fundraisers like this are important for the school.
“We’re a small school, so fundraisers like this are very important for our school,” said Colley. “We really rely on the community for support.”
Colley said that the money raised from the fundraiser goes towards projects that directly benefit the children at St. Paul’s.
Past projects that have been funded from the fish fry fundraiser include the playground equipment at the school.
The fish fry will take place from 4:30p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening. Tickets for the fundraiser are $10 and include catfish fillets, French fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw, and homemade brownies.
Advanced tickets are available at Little Friend’s School, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, George’s Paint and Body, Fuller Building Supply and Four Season’s Garden Center.
According to Colley, a select number of tickets will also be available at the fish fry.
