The Selma Times-Journal’s All Dallas County basketball team is loaded with scorers.

Selma High, Keith High, Ellwood Christian Academy, Dallas County High and Morgan Academy all had multiple players on the squad.

Marqwavis Davis, Johnny Smith and Javonte Stubbs represent the Saints, who went an impressive 7-1 against Dallas County schools.

Morgan Academy, which reached the AISA Elite Eight, was led by Gunnar Henderson and Dione Allen. Henderson earned MVP honors at the AISA All-Star Basketball game.

Justin Bufford and Cameron Prince made the all-county team from ECA.

Keith was led by Kendarius Perry and Arayvion Jones.

Dallas County High had two selections: Darrius Ellis and Kendall Thomas.

The other two selections are Southside’s Tae Spears and Chemar McGuire of Meadowview Christian School.

Several players are stellar dual-sport athletes. Allen and Perry both made The Selma Times-Journal’s All Dallas County football team. Henderson is expected to make The Selma Times-Journal’s All Dallas County baseball squad when the list comes out in June.
