UPDATE: Truck driver killed in wreck Monday

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) and Selma Police Department (SPD) responded to a report of an accident at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon when an 18-wheeler veered off of U.S. Highway 80 and crashed into the Southside High School Gymnasium, killing the driver.
According to ALEA Public Information Officer Reginal King, the driver of the vehicle, James Shannon Minter, 42, of Broxton, Georgia was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was harmed in the accident.
Exact damage to Southside High School is still unknown at this time.
No other information is available as ALEA continues to investigate the accident.
