William Virgil Osburn, age 69, of Jemison passed away on February 28, 2019. He was born March 1, 1949 to Clifton Pryor Osburn and Mary Gallops Osburn of Selma.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clifton D Osburn; and sister, Tena Joy Osburn.

Mr. Osburn was survived by his wife, Mary Osburn; daughter, Angela (Gary) Sherwood; 3 grandchildren, Victoria Osburn, William A. Osburn, and Brayden Sherwood; 1 great-grandchild, Lyla Osburn; and numerous nieces and nephews and adopted family members.

He will have a graveside service at Alabama National Cemetery on Tuesday March 5, 2019 at 11:45 am. Mr. Osburn will have a visitation Monday March 4, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). He will lie in state an hour prior to service time at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo).
