Selma Career Center will host a “Parents and Seniors Night Out” on Thursday, March 21 from 5-7 p.m.

The event serves as an opportunity for graduating seniors and their parents to learn about the opportunities available to them post-graduation.

Students can register for financial assistance for technical school placement and training. Financial assistance covers tuition, books, tools and equipment needed for technical school programs.

Information about work-based learning programs will also be available. Work-based learning programs allow out-of-school youths, ages 17-24, to earn wages $8-$10 an hour while they develop job skills.
