Selma Police Department (SPD) Chief Spencer Collier said Tuesday morning due to inclement weather.

“Civilian and non-essential employees are off at the police department,” Collier said. “Regular business with the public such as reports and magistrate is not operating today. Everyone should be back tomorrow. Officers and their assigned shifts are working as normal.

“We have sufficient law enforcement personnel working today to handle any issues relating to weather,” Collier said. “We are requesting travel be limited to what is deemed essential.”
