Dr. Timothy Marlow

Dr. Timothy Marlow, 62, born in Greenville, died December 22, 2018 at Capitol Hill Healthcare Center, Montgomery. He was a resident of Selma and worked for several years as an OB/GYN delivering many babies and caring for many women in the Selma and surrounding areas. He has a sincere and caring spirit for his patients and often went extra mile to make sure they were taken care of. All who knew him can attest to his generosity and willingness to do whatever he could to help anyone. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Marlow and Jerlene Payne. Survivors include his three children, Leslie Marlow (Birmingham), Ryan Marlow (Valley), and Zoey Marlow (Selma,); one sister, Gail Marlow-Womack (Atlanta, GA); one niece and one nephew. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019, 1 p.m. at Brown Chapel AME Church located at 410 Martin Luther King Street with Pastor L. Strong officiating and Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of Dr. Timothy Marlow.
