Two men were arrested Friday morning believed to be in connection to a shooting that left one man dead earlier this week.

Arrested were Christopher “Lil Chris’’ Hosea,18 of Selma and David “Joc Dinero” Lewis, 28 of Selma, according to Selma Police Department (SPD) Chief Spencer Collier.

SPD with the assistance of Montgomery Police Departments (MPD) Strike Team, arrested the two suspects.

Collier said the Fugitive Apprehension and Special Tactics (FAST) Team served a murder arrest warrant on an apartment in GWC homes.

“Simultaneously, the Montgomery PD Strike Force served a second arrest warrant for murder on a second apartment in GWC,” said Collier. “Both arrests stem from the murder of Alan Bishop shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning. Montgomery’s Strike Team was requested because of the necessity to serve the warrants simultaneously in the same complex.  Both teams utilized a dynamic entry and the suspects were taken into custody without incident.  Both suspects will be placed in unspecified jails on no bond, pending a bond hearing.
