Dallas County teams on the road in holiday tournaments

Both Selma High basketball teams won games in tournaments this week.
At the Mosley Shootout in Panama City, Florida on Thursday. Selma boys beat Rutherford 59-51 as Tyshawn Garner scored 13 points. Jarvis Moss added 11 as the Saints improved to 11-7.
“We made enough free throws at the end,” Saints coach Ronald Lane said.
The Lady Saints beat Cedar Grove 44-38 in the Dwight Madison Basketball Classic on Thursday as Rodericka Parker scored 22 points and Tashari Grimes added 13.
At the Timothy Stallworth Classic at Wilcox Central, Keith beat Montgomery Academy 71-58 in a first-round contest.
Southside plays in the Timothy Stallworth Classic on Saturday. Panthers coach Lenord Jones said their first-round opponent, A.L. Johnson, pulled out of their game Thursday night.
