Vaughan Regional Medical Center (VRMC) was recognized with an “A” ranking from the Leapfrog Group’s Fall 2018 Hospital Safety Grade.
Leapfrog is a national group committed to improving the quality and safety of healthcare across the country and the grade recognizes VRMC’s commitment to patient safety, both in protecting patients from harm and upholding high safety standards.
“It’s great to be recognized by a national rating service for the hard work, dedication and excellent care given to our patients,” said VRMC Chief Executive Officer David McCormack. “It means we are better than our competitors and we have better results than other hospitals in our region. Our patients have better outcomes when being treated at Vaughan.”
VRMC was one of 855 hospitals across the nation to receive an “A” in Leapfrog’s Fall analysis, the hospital’s second year in a row garnering such recognition.
