A suspect’s murder case was waived Tuesday to the Dallas County Grand Jury.
The case of Christopher Muse, 24, was announced in District Court Judge Bob Armstrong’s courtroom. Muse is being charged with murder.
A Selma Narcotics Officer identified Muse as the driver in the fatal shooting of Leon Sanders, 24 on July 14. Selma Police Department Chief Spencer Collier said the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on July 14 at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Lauderdale Street.
Collier also said the investigation showed that Furlow and Sanders were fighting, and Furlow produced a firearm following the altercation and shot Sanders.
Furlow, 21, turned himself in on July 15 and was also charged with murder. Muse was arrested on Sept. 25.
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said Muse’s case will be presented to the grand jury within the next few months.
