Freddie Tyus Jr., 70, of Plantersville, passed away October 27, 2018 at UAB. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2018, 2 p.m. at Bethel Grove Baptist Church in Plantersville with the Rev. Jerry Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Grove Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Elaine Tyus; mother, Adeline Tyus; children, Felecia Sanders, Debra Hodges, Bemmer Hodges, Freddie (Teshawna) Hodges, and Alison Caver; brothers, Sham (Blanche) Tyus, Albert (Odell) Tyus, Embrick Tyus, Edward (Clara) Tyus, Tyrone Tyus; sisters, Shirley (Freeman) Alexander, Eliza Simon, Earl Underwood, Sarah (William) Mills; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins; special friend, Robert Jackson; special recognition to Quinton Hodges and Dominique Gary, Grandpa will forever and always watch over you.
