Mrs. Mary J. Mims, 74, of Selma, passed away October 20, 2018 in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2018, 1 p.m. at Summer Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Will E. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is survived by one son, Earnest C. Mims Jr.; daughter-in-law, Erika Cleveland Mims; brothers, James Jackson, Tom (Rose) Jackson, Fred Jackson, Theodore (Hattie) Jackson, and Matthew (Monica) Jackson; three sisters, Minnie (Vartits) Cook, Martha Jackson, and Loverne Jackson; nine grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
