Mr. Cleophus Atkinson, 83, of Dallas County, passed away October 24, 2018 at Perry County Nursing Home. Services are scheduled for October 27, 2018, 1 p.m. at Eylon Baptist Church with Pastor Nathaniel Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Baptist Church with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Atkinson; four sons, Douglas (Shelinda Mahone) Atkinson, Thomas (Kathy) Atkinson, Raffus Atkinson, Sylvester (Gloria) Atkinson; three daughters, Loretta (Theapolis) Smith, Jackie (Keith) Phillips, and Manatha (Eric) Armstead; 38 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
