Sammy B. Towns Jr., 62, of Sardis, passed away September 23, 2018 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2018, noon at New Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan M. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is preceded in death by his brother, Sammie Wright and sister, Getrude Sanders. He is survived by his wife, Debra Towns; parents, Sammy Towns Sr. and Eunice Towns; three sons, Sammy Towns III, Daniel Towns, and LaDarius Towns; three daughters, RayTonya Dailey, Nicholette Towns, and Samantha Towns; one brother, Winfred Towns; 11 grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
