Broadband becoming the new normal in utilities

Technology is always advancing, and the majority of  the nation has connection to the Internet in some shape way or form

Alabama has a long way to go in getting caught up being ranked 41st as the most connected state. While 100 percent of Alabamians have access to mobile broadband service, There is still 26 percent of the state that is not served, according to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

In Dallas County, 79.3 percent of the county have access to 25 mpbs, which is one of the basic connection coverage.

There are those in Congress who are working to bring easy Internet access to counties like ours, and they deserve our support in this legislation that will benefit us all.
