Earl Johnson Jr., 89, of Selma and formerly of New Orleans, LA and Markham, Illinois, passed away July 29, 2018 at Vaughan Hospital in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 4, 2018, noon at Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frederick Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery with Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing. He is preceded in death by his mother, Viola Lundy Thomas and father, Earl Johnson Sr. He is survived by his wife, Doris F. Johnson; daughter, Kim A. Johnson of Tampa, FL; grandchild, Celeste Johnson Zamuner of Tampa, FL; brother-in-law, Churchill Fluker of Selma; three sisters-in-law, Eddie May Long, Irma B. Watson, both of Detroit, MI and Evelyn Cox of Selma.
