Selma Country Club Championship golf tournament coming in August
The two-day Selma Country Club Championship golf tournament will tee-off the first weekend of August.
The members-only tournament will have divisions for men, women, juniors and seniors who want to compete.
The Country Club will begin the weekend with a cocktail party Friday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start. The junior division and women’s division players will begin at 8:30 a.m., and everyone else will start at 12:30 p.m.
Everyone will play 18-holes each day, and the top finishers will be awarded their paid prizes at the conclusion of the tournament.
The entry fee for junior players is $25 per player, and $100 per player for the men’s, women’s and senior divisions.
Selma Country Club golf pro Tommy Burns said he’s expecting approximately 40 golfers to participate in the tournament.
