The application period for the Alabama Power Foundation’s 2018 Elevate Grant Program is now open.

Non-profits across the state are encouraged to apply.

Elevate grants empower non-profits by funding community-centered projects, educational workshops and networking opportunities.

Since the program began in 2014, 41 non-profits across the state received Elevate grants to strengthen their organizations.

This year the foundations will award four grants of $17,500 each. In addition to the grant dollars, recipients will participate in a workshop later this year to hep them grow and find ways to expand their positive impact.

Online applications will be accepted through Aug. 24 and grant recipients will be announced in September. The Alabama Foundation will host grantees at the Elevate Grant workshop in November.
