Shelia Carmichael Irby, 51, of Millbrook, passed away May 23, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center South. Services are scheduled for June 2, 2018, 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Brother James Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel E. Irby; mother, Alberta Hudson Carmichael; two sons, Roderick Carmichael of Selma and Samuel E. Irby Jr. of Birmingham; daughter, Mya Sanders of Michigan; three brothers, Obie (Charunzy) Carmichael of Selma, Terry (Diana) Carmichael of Selma, and Stanley Carmichael of Nashville, TN; sisters, Jennifer Bean of Selma, Brenda Carmichael of Selma, Veronica Carmichael of Selma, Vanessa (Kendrick) McMillian of Selma, LaKeesha (Robert) Green of Madison, Wisconsin, Candace Carmichael of Selma; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
