Mr. Steven W. Simpson, 48, of Selma, passed away May 5, 2018 at UAB Hospital. Services are scheduled for May 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Dillard officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by two sons, Steven “Star” Fitts and Ronald Fitts Sr.; two brothers, Johnny Simpson and Michael Simpson; two sisters, Barbara Jordan and Lillie Simpson; five nieces; four nephews; host of aunts and uncles.
