MCS junior varsity girls take third place at ACEA track meet

Fifteen students from Meadowview Christian school went to Montevallo to compete in the ACEA State Track Meet.  MCS track team competed against 16 other schools. The junior varisty girls won third place overall.

Imani Perkins came in first place in the 100m dash, and Mya Rollins took second place.

Kristen Little came in first place in the 200m (30.58) and second place in the 400m (1:13.80)

The JV girls relay teams took first place in the 4-by-100m (59.38) and fifth place in the 4-by-200m relay. Anne Kathryn Hagood, Mya Rollins, Kristen Little and Imani Perkins ran in the 4-by-100 relay, and Hope Smith, Trinity Jones, Anne Kathryn Hagood and Mya Rollins ran in the 4-by-200 relay.

Blake Ogle came in first place in the boys 100m (13.06) and second place in the boys 200m.

Eric Wilkes came in seventh place in the boys 100m (14.21).

The JV boys relay team took first place in the 4-by-100m (57.49) The relay team consisted of Eric Wilkes, Briar Cameron, Amari Rucker and Blake Ogle.

The girls Varsity relay team placed fourth in the 4-by-100m and the 4-by-200m relay.  Lauren Ross, Erin McIntyre, Alyssa Verhoff and Reagan Burton ran the 4-by-100m, and Estella Reynolds, Alyssa Verhoff, Erin McIntyre and Lauren Ross ran the 4-by-200m relay.

The coaches Robin Little, Carrie Hagood, and Keynotta Rucker were very pleased with the team this year and can’t wait for next year.
