Amelia Tate Mims, 72, of Selma, passed away March 16, 2018, at his home in Selma. Services are scheduled for March 25, 2018, at 2 p.m., at West Village Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Brenda Tyus officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing. She is preceded in death by Mr. Jessie James Mims. She is survived by step sons, Gary Gullett and Rodney Levey; daughter, Annette Mims; brother, Payton Tate Jr. of VA; sister, Annie L. Thompson of Selma; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; ten nieces; nine nephews.
