Marie Courtney Swindle, age 77, of Selma, passed away March 30, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Willie Clyde Courtney, Bonnie Morgan, Mitchell Finley, Geneva and Mayburn Ott and William and Shirley Courtney.

Marie is survived by her husband, Thomas “Billy” Swindle Sr.; children, Tommy (Betty Carol) Swindle and Teresa (Craig) Smitherman; grandchildren, Christopher Swindle, Cory (Rachel) Jones, Lauren (Ryan) Woodson, Andrew Swindle, Robbie Wiese and Alex Smitherman; great-grandson, Grayson Jones; sister, Ruby Finley; sister-in-law, Mary Courtney; brother-in-law, Earnest Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 2, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home with pastor Travis Barnes officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service 10-11 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Lamar Morgan, Tommy Love, James Edmonds, Michael Edmonds, Tommy Swindle and Joe Aultman.
