George Safford, 76, of Selma, passed away March 6, 2018, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for March 10, 2018, at noon at Good Hope Baptist Church with pastor John Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Churchyard with Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing. He is preceded in death by his spouse, Clemmie M. Walton. He is survived by his sons, Mark Safford of Selma, Clint Richardson of Dallas, Texas, and Ron Kelly of Birmingham; and daughters, Cynthia Davis and Brittany Mitchell.
