Mr. Perry Alan Gougler, age 58, formerly of Selma, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at his residence in Panama City Beach, Florida. Mr. Gougler was a graduate of Meadowview Christian and Marion Military Institute.

He is survived by his son, Clinton Lee Gougler of Panama City, Florida; his father, Gordon Gougler of Selma; his brothers, Randall Gougler of Selma and Trampas (Tonya) Gougler of Dothan; his niece, Ann Kathryn Gougler of Camden; and his uncle, Mike (Betty) Kendrick of Clio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Gayle Gougler in 2002.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Elkdale Baptist Church, 2221 Elkdale St, Selma, 36701 with Rev. Rusty Sowell officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Selma. Asked to serve as pallbearers: Trampas Gougler, Dennis Greene, Doug McConnell, Dusty McConnell, Bobby Jimmerson, and William Till. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Elkdale Baptist Church.
