The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 80 near the 93-mile marker.

According to King, the circumstances of the crash are still under investigation, but speed is believed to have been a factor in the accident.

No further information has been released about the crash, which remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.

This is the fourth fatal traffic accident in Dallas County over the last seven days.
