Mr. Orlanda T. Carter, 45, of Selma, passed away Jan. 28, 2018, in Selma. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at noon at Potters Place Church with Minister Maurice Carter officiating.

He is survived by his spouse, Nena Carter; mother, Gloria J. Carter; children, Ashley Sharpe, Whitney Richardson, Brittany Richardson, Jacoby Carter, and Ebony Carter; mother-in-law, Ruby Rhodes; brothers, Edward (Derene) Carter, Jr. and Michael (Sophia) Carter; sisters, Josephine (Leodis) Steele, Cassandra (Alfred) Morrow, Dianetta (James) Bethel, and Ellanor Hawkins; three grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
