Virginia Allen England, age 92, of Valley Grande, passed away Jan. 20, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Earle England; parents, Garrett and Nell Oxford; and brother, Garrett Oxford Jr.

Surviving are her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Long, Lillian England Acton and Emily England; special friends, Charlene Osbourn and Buddy Hughes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Steven Kopp officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Sanchez, Johnny Jones, Jimmy Ellison, Charles Ellis, Cecil Strickland and Buddy Hughes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to be given to Memorial United Methodist Church, 2150 Broad St., Selma, AL 36701.
