Arthur “Buddy” Thomas Jr. passed away on Jan. 19, 2018.  He was born Oct. 31, 1938, to the late Arthur Thomas Sr. and Katie Chandler Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Tolen Wilson Thomas; daughter, Elizabeth (John) Stoudenmire; son, Arthur (Debbie) Thomas III; brother, Don Thomas; sisters, Evelyn Baxter and Marie Eaton; grandchildren, Randy (Candace) Stoudenmire, Taylor Stoudenmire, Trey (Brittney) Thomas, Jacob Thomas and Brooke Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Randall Stoudenmire, Hunter Stoudenmire and Hadley Thomas,

Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Sister Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jonathan Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
