Ernest Lamar Casey Jr. passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at the age of 86 surrounded by his family. He was born May 12, 1931, to the late Ernest Lamar Casey Sr. and Mamie Lois Jackson Casey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Harris Casey.

He is survived by his son, Jack (Renee) Callen of Selma; daughters, Candy (Rick) Enkeboll of Auburn, Connie (Collin) McCrary of Troy and Cheryl (Lewis) Fryer of Blakely, Georgia; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, William L. (Pat) Casey of Carlowville and Jerry (Peggy) Casey of Carrolton, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan.18, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Light officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Fred Holladay III, David Holladay, Ronnie Holladay, Dave Lyon, Jim Mason and Willie “Nuh” Williams.

The family will accept flowers, or you may consider making memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
