Mary Leigh Howorth passed away Jan. 1, 2018, at the age of 103. She was born Nov. 27, 1914, to the late Joseph R. McCall and Clemmie Wells McCall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Graham J. Howorth; son, Dr. Graham Lee Howorth; and sister, Lillie Mae “Sis” Moxley.

She is survived by her son, Treadwell K. “Buddy” Howorth (Linda); daughters, Joanne Howorth and Lynn (Landis) Gaston; 9 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Martin and the Rev. Von McQueen officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Reid Buster.
