Rodney Laird Love passed away Dec. 9, 2017, at the age of 84. He was born Aug. 31, 1933, to the late Rodney Moss Love of York, South Carolina, and Winnie Lou Laird Love of Rehoboth.

He was reunited with his loving wife, Mary Cassandra Day Love, who passed away in January. It was his wish to spend Christmas with her, and God granted his wish.

He is survived by his children, Rodney Laird Love II, David Edward Love, Cammy Love Fulmer and Thompson Sloan Love; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Rehoboth Family Cemetery in Wilcox County on County Road 4 with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Lukas Love, Michael Fulmer, Ted Davis, Howard Holley, Josh Wilkerson, Sam Neely, Don Gamble, Wilton Gamble and Dr. Shane Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Peyton Burford and Dan Wilkinson.
