You never really know what will happen in the state of Alabama when snow is in the forecast.

There could be a few small flurries, or it could be like Friday and snow all day long.
Officials with the schools, city and county did a good job in deciding to call off school and close earlier than normal.

As the temperature dropped, the roads got more and more dangerous. The snow stuck and slush turned into ice on the roads. No one needed to be out and about trying to drive in those conditions.

EMA also did a good job keeping people informed and updated about the snowfall.
