Mr. Davis Henry Peasant, 60, of Selma, passed away December 2, 2017 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at noon at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Tyler with the Rev. Jimmy Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Tyler with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by four daughters, Barbara Hester, Carolyn (Enriquito) Acea, Davita Louis and Alesha Paden; brothers, Steve (Mable) Peasant Jr., Ray (Nora) Peasant, Wilson (Thelma) Peasant, Dennis (Essie) Peasant and Edward Peasant; sisters, Ida Adams, Clara (John) Smith and Katie Holloway; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
