Menla Dugger Smith, age 74, of Jones, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2017.

She was born July 29, 1943, to the late Harold and Mary Jordan Dugger of Selma, and was granddaughter to Gus and Annie Larie Jordan, also of Selma.

She graduated from A.G. Parrish High School in 1961 and attended Hicks Business School the following year.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Smith; sons, Keith J. Peppers and Richard Smith; grandchildren, Tyler Cameron, Jordan Peppers, Jada Smith, Heavenly Smith, Morningstar Smith and Kristen Hall.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. David Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Old Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers will be Dennis Vasser, Arlen Kaldor, Roy Kaldor, Ferrell Carter, Peppers Walker, and Al Maxwell.
