Published 8:37 pm Friday, December 1, 2017

There will not be a dull moment Saturday in Selma unless you’re the Grinch. That’s because a plethora of events have been scheduled to last through the majority of the day to celebrate Christmas.

If someone in Selma and Dallas County cannot find something to do, then they aren’t looking.

There is First Morning Art Walk with Christmas activities, the Selma-Dallas County Christmas Parade, the Christmas Tree Riverwalk, Christmas on the Avenue, the Sturdivant Hall Artisan’s Fair and Winn-Dixie’s “Taste of the Holidays.”

The fun starts at 8 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. Charlie’s Place will also be open.

Whether it is the parade, the Christmas tree walk or one of the other events, we hope to see everyone in the holiday spirit.
