Mr. Earnest Tarver Jr., 65, of New Hope, Minnesota, formerly of Selma, passed away Nov. 5, 2017, at St. Therese Hospice, New Hope, Minnesota.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at New Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Burial will follow at New Sister Spring directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Selma.

Survivors include his wife, Sianer Tarver; parents, Elnora Tarver; three daughters, Patricia D. Lewis, Amanda Martin and Latonja Cole; three brothers, George (Rita) Tarver, Otis (Nell) Tarver and James Tarver; one sister, Sheilia Dejarnett; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a loving aunt Mary Singleton and Sarah Oliver.
