Mr. Daniel Robert Cook Sr., 78, of Selma, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, in Selma. Services are scheduled for Nov. 4, 2017, at noon at Ashley’s J.H. Williams officiated by the Rev. Carl Greene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah Lou Moore, mom; Edgar Cook, dad; brothers, Fredrick Cook, Robert Cook and Tommie Moore; sisters, Eddie C. Enoch and Pearlie Cook-Wright

His survivors are his wife; Wilma Jean Cook; sons, Daniel R. Cook Jr; grandson, Moran Cook; daughter, Jarea Cook; brothers, Willie P. (Margaret) Cook, Luther (Patricia) Cook of Selma; sisters; Jacqueline Cook-Elliot of Selma and Mary Cook of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
