Steven Craig Phillips was born March 18, 1963, and went to ride with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at the age of 54.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, R.P. and Bettye Phillips, Luther and Lela Pepper and father-in-law, Walter Curb.

He is survived by his wife Alicia Phillips; parents, Bob and Pat Phillips; mother-in-law, Elaine and Mark Simons; brothers, Mark (Suzanne) Phillips, Scott Phillips; brother-in-law, Chris (Arlene) Curb; sister-in-law, Michelle (Blaine) Cameron; nephews, Preston Phillips, Winston (Katie) Bearden, Jamie Bearden and Walter Tyler Cameron and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Tom McLemore officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be, Alan Roach, Ricky Waters, Alan Shumate, Billy Tippett, Jasper Pugh, Donnie Veach, Randy Hamilton, Lowell Butts, Randy Reeves, Bo Levins and Kenny Nicholson.

Steve was very passionate about making sure everyone enjoyed themselves and he loved helping others.
